The Belly Pictures

These photos are from a series by a guy who is taking photos of his wife each week of her pregnancy. Aren't they amazing? I find them beautiful and alien at the same time.

garden party

Isn't this a lovely setting.... I'm wishing it was summer and warm enough for a garden party. Found this here via here.

The White House

I just saw this house in Amber's Vogue Living. It's actually called the white house, isn't it beautiful? It's in Melbourne and you can rent it for weekends. We're too scared to check how much it costs!

shadows

Isn't this cool? This is from a really happy girls blog. She is almost as happy as you at the moment I think. Which as we know is enough to make you sick! Katie (the happy girl) makes public art and is a photographer. She does some cool stuff. I think the shadows are a great idea. Also check out her hearts they're right up your alley! Oh and this too.

p.s.

how is your boyfriend?

farmers markets flowers

Pretty flowers sitting in my room from the farmers markets.

rocks

These rocks remind me of a book I just finished reading. In the book the little boy collected rocks that reminded him of his family. He was so specific about each rock being right for the person and needed to keep the rocks afterwards. Something about it has really stuck with me, and these rocks look like a family too.

Brooke who I found here, shared these photos. Her sons collected the rocks, they have apparently inherited her collecting gene.

I cried... again.

That was mean, I couldn't resist watching it of course. Again, why? Lying in bed crying cause of the bloody book.

So anyway, this song is great, just found at Pia's place. Australian band called The Middle East and the song is called Blood, how's that for happy? You like?

your love glass is half full

Remember how I made you read this? Don't hate me.

Now here's me trying to make up for it:

a first attempt

.. you knew it would :)

So if this were a postcard, it would be filled by now with a whole mess of crossed out words. Or words erased with white-out. Or stuck with extra bits of paper to cover up the stuff-ups. Bless the 'delete' button. And you know how much it bothers me when I don't write in straight lines. So we're off to a good start, I say.

Some Other Things that Make me Smile:
two old people holding hands
a young boy taking care of his even younger sibling
dogs sticking their heads outside of car windows
cats with white socks
