I found these brass plates at the same store as the metal bar stools. Made in Italy, they're hand-drawn and painted with such wonderful colours. I couldn't resist.

a new addtion

I finally made it into pepe's thifty shop on centinela yesterday. Yes, that's thifty, not thrift. So cute. It's a little antique furniture store I used to drive past every day on my way to work and it always caught my eye; stacks of chairs piled up against each other along a wall with peeling yellow paint, mirrors balanced precariously on top of them.. positively enticing.

And so.

I walked in.

And, amongst so much that was so tempting, I settled on this:


.. times two! The pair now resides in front of my kitchen counter, for conversations over cooking. Come over!
